About Furl Mesh Core

01

Furl Mesh Core was registered in 2018, after Callum Ashworth spent a decade watching large consultancies sell complexity back to the organisations that hired them. The name is deliberate: to furl is to roll something tight and secure it. Meshcore refers to the structural lattice that holds a form together under pressure. The practice was built around a single question: what does an organisation actually need, as opposed to what it thinks it needs when it first picks up the phone?

— What we stand for —

Callum Ashworth

Callum Ashworth spent eleven years inside large professional services firms before deciding the model was broken. He led restructuring programmes at two FTSE-listed logistics companies, ran a regional operations review for a mid-market manufacturer in the East Midlands, and watched too many good organisations pay for reports that sat unread on a shelf. In 2018 he left to build something leaner. Furl Mesh Core is the result: a consultancy that takes on a small number of engagements at a time and stays until the work is actually done. He reads widely in systems theory and is a committed fell walker.

STRUCTURED THINKING. MEASURABLE RESULTS.
